To fill the brains of our Virtual Consultants, we looked at the best that consultants have to offer: their white papers. These publications summarize their research, client experience, and advice about a certain business issue.

We analysed 11,000 white papers from the 100 most noted consultancy firms, Next, we selected the best 20% and let A.I. group these white papers by business issue. Finally, we used the white papers’ content to create questionnaires to highlight various angles of each issue.  In the Store, you’ll find which white papers helped to create which questionnaire.

SELECTING THE BEST 20%

Our editorial A.I. read the white papers’ 100,000 pages and 1,5 million sentences and ranked the white papers among others according to, e.g., originality, contrasts and comparisons (STORY). And the use of numbers, page content diversity, and other parameters (STRUCTURE).

Quickly, the more promotional white papers were tossed out and eventually the best 20% remained.

MIX & MATCH FOR THE BEST RESULT

These 20% best were subdued to topic modelling and hyperparameter tuning to create 45 different categories (e.g., ‘Banking’ or ‘Strategy’) comprising over 300 business issues. Keyword extraction and other analyses helped to create multiple questionnaires per business issue. All questionnaires needed white papers from multiple firms to achieve our quality benchmarks.
