The PRAIORITIZE technical architecture is analogue to the architecture of any leading SaaS vendor in its field.

The two pillars: privacy-by-design and cloud computing. The former is made official by the ISO27001 standard. The latter is about Microsoft Azure: in our opinion the leading cloud service provider.

PRIVACY-BY-DESIGN & ISO27001

The main goal of PRAIORITIZE is to ask people and give them personalize advice in return. Our clients do not ask for very privacy-related information in the strictest sense. They usually ask respondents business related formation like name, email address, department, role, and location. We extremely rarely see clients ask for anything more privacy related (e.g., gender or age) and never something like orientation, fiscal- or health matters.

Yet, PRAIORITIZE has been built from the ground up with “privacy-by-design” in mind. There is maximum transparency to – and control by – respondents. They can choose to opt-in to certain functionalities.  And the ‘right to be forgotten’ requires just a few mouse-clicks.

To formalize our dedication to privacy and – related to that – information security in general, we yearly have outside auditors certify PRAIORITIZE as a platform and our company from a process point of view for ISO27001.

ISO 27001 is the leading international standard focused on information security. It was published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), in partnership with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Both are leading international organizations that develop international standards.

The basic goal of ISO 27001 and an Information Security Management System is to protect three aspects of information:

(*) Confidentiality: Only authorized persons have the right to access information.
(*) Integrity: Only authorized persons can change the information.
(*) Availability: The information must be accessible to authorized persons whenever it is needed.

The ISO framework is a combination of various standards for organizations to use. ISO 27001 provides a framework to help organizations, of any size or any industry, to protect their information in a systematic and cost-effective way, through the adoption of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Transparency Lab, the mother company of PRAIORITIZE has been ISO 27001 certified since 2018.

CLOUD & AZURE

As a SaaS platform, PRAIORITIZE uses several other cloud service providers to complement its architecture: Microsoft Azure for its server infrastructure and Zendesk for customer support to name two examples. These providers have information security certifications and audits on their own rendering our IT infrastructure robust, yet flexible.

Microsoft Azure, formerly known as Windows Azure, is Microsoft’s public cloud computing platform. It provides a broad range of cloud services, including compute, analytics, storage and networking. Users can pick and choose from these services to develop and scale new applications or run existing applications in the public cloud.

The Azure platform aims to help businesses manage challenges and meet their organizational goals. It offers tools that support all industries — including e-commerce, finance and a variety of Fortune 500 companies — and is compatible with open source technologies. This gives users the flexibility to use their preferred tools and technologies. In addition, Azure offers four different forms of cloud computing: infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), software as a service (SaaS) and serverless functions.
